Owner-managed since it's inception, Brown Metals takes extreme pride in the depth of expertise evident throughout the company. From skilled slitter operators, warehouse staff and delivery crews, Brown Metals employees are trained and qualified experts in thin gauge stainless steel coil products.

As an authorized distributor for Allegheny Ludlum Steel Corporation and Somers Thin Strip, Brown Metals can furnish production-size quantities with custom order specifications. Buying directly from the mills eliminates brokering and allows Brown Metals to provide customers with the most competitive prices on the highest quality materials.

With the largest inventory of thin gauge stainless steel coil product on the West Coast - more than a million pounds at all times - Brown Metals is able to turn orders around fast and accurately. Customers can depend on the fact that all products listed are in stock and ready for shipment.

At Brown Metals, every order, regardless of size, is appreciated; from requests for less than a pound to those in excess of 10 tons. Brown Metals excels at meeting specific inquiries for coil sizes, weights, and other special requirements. Specially engineered slitters allow precise slitting of materials from .001" to .035" thick in widths from .020" to 36" with tight tolerances of ± .001".
